AM Recovery provides online, IOP group treatment for individuals looking for a supportive path to alcohol and drug recovery. Our team of licensed clinicians, create a safe and culturally competent environment for working professionals (18+). Our groups are conducted on a rolling basis, follow evidence-based curriculum, and explore a wide-range of areas proven to affect our sobriety.

As the name suggest (AM Recovery), our groups are for early risers, giving individuals the opportunity to access needed help, while balancing work, family, and other personal responsibilities. We believe that recovery should strengthen your ability to do life, not interfere or create more stress in life. Start your path to sobriety today.

How much does treatment cost?

There are no hidden fees at AM Recovery. The total cost for our 8-week treatment program is $1,650.

Do you accept insurance?

Currently, AM Recovery does not accept insurance. However, a superbill (receipt of services) can be provided, which may allow for partial reimbursement upon receipt of payment.

Do you accept payment plans?

Yes, the total cost of treatment can be paid monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly.

What is the experience level of your clinicians?

Every clinician at AM Recovery is licensed and has a minimum of 10 years’ experience in various mental health fields.

How long is treatment and how often are groups?

Treatment is 8-weeks, and is offered three times a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday).

Are groups really at 6:00 AM in the morning?

Yes, groups on Tuesdays and Thursdays begin at 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM on Saturday. This allows busy professionals an opportunity to invest in their recovery, without sacrificing their work and life responsibilities.

Do you offer individual counseling too?

Yes. AM Recovery has several licensed clinicians who will support your journey to recovery via individual counseling.

What is the process to begin treatment?

The process to begin treatment is simple. You can sign up via the Request Appointment Link or Complete the Information.

  • You can complete the information questionnaire, and a member on our team will follow up with next steps, or
  • Select Request Appointment and click IOP Groups. You will receive a follow up email, along with corresponding paperwork to complete electronically. A representative on our team will follow up within 24 hours.
  • You will receive course material and a link to join our expert-led groups.

CLINICAL STAFF

Dr. Nic Hardy

AM Recovery is led by Dr. Nic Hardy. Nic received his Ph.D. from the University of Houston, and his master’s in social work from the University of Texas, Arlington. He also has a SAP (Substance Abuse Professional) certification.

Dr. Kierra McShine-Gregory

Kierra has over 10 years of experience supporting individuals with substance use prevention and intervention through medication management, curriculum development, and group facilitation.

Ruby LuLe, LMSW, LCDC

Ruby received her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Houston, and has extensive experience in the Social Welfare System, Guardianship, Intellectual Disabilities, Substance Abuse, and more.

Belinda Tate-Hardy, LCSW

Her work spans diverse clinical roles including medical social work, youth and family services, hospice care, corrections, mental health treatment, and disability support across and multidisciplinary care settings.
